An afternoon 4-hour, half-day bottom reef fishing experience is ideal for those with some fishing experience or who are new to fishing. Join others for a shared fishing tour targeting tasty table fish like large/small-mouth nannygai, coral trout, red emperor, grassy emperor, cobia, Indonesian snapper and many more. Half-day shared fishing charters are a traditional method of bottom reef fishing using Shimano Taipan 15-24kg rods and Shimano Saragosa 14,000 reels. 

Travelling distances may vary due to the weather conditions, but generally, it is a 15 to 45-minute journey to the fishing grounds. All shared charters fish in and around the many picturesque Whitsunday Islands. All charters depart & return from Hamilton Island Marina. Sorry, no mainland pickups.

Inclusions/Information:

• Departing at 1 pm & returning at 5 pm from Hamilton Island Marina, D Arm.
• Bait & high-quality Shimano fishing tackle are supplied.
• All bottom reef fishing.
• Complimentary bottles of water.
• The minimum age is six years old.
• Fish filleted to your liking.
• Toilet onboard.
• Professionally crewed by local guides.
• Take home your catch to cook at your island accommodation.
