Is catching a black marlin or sailfish on your bucket list? Our Hamilton Island light tackle billfish charters are designed for the keen sports fisherman, with a full day dedicated to catching them. We are fortunate to have them here all year round, but the best months to target blacks & sails are from September to December. Trolling with dead baits/skirts & also hard body lures for bycatch pelagic fish like Spanish mackerel, spotted mackerel, mahi-mahi & longtail tuna.

Inclusions:

  • Whole boat booking – Up to a maximum of 10 guests.
  • Departs at 8 am & returns at 4 pm from Hamilton Island Marina, D Arm.
  • Bait and high-quality Shimano tackle supplied.
  • Trolling for billfish only - tagged & released.
  • Professionally crewed by local guides.
  • Catering provided - Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea.
